My Alibi Clothing - innovative women's activewear developed by a woman in Iowa

Abbie Durkee owns My Alibi Clothing and she has developed some innovative women's
activewear products for the marketplace and is working towards her first
production run in the coming months. A bunch of us have been working with
her on her business plan, financing, marketing, and getting the buzz
developed to launch. *She needs our help - as cyclists, athletes, business
people and connectors to make this happen.*

  1. You can help by checking out her Kickstarter page to learn about Abbie and the brand. Her campaign ends on January 22, 2012. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1771574263/my-alibi-clothing-active-apparel-for-women-riding

  2. Join us Saturday, January 14 from 2-4 at Rasmussen Bike Shop, 301
    Grand in West Des Moines
. Abbie will be there to talk about My Alibi,
present the line with models, and give a presentation. Also, special guest
Mike Colwell, Executive Director of the Business Innovation Zone, will join
to talk about entrepreneurs in Iowa like Abbie and how we can help them.
This won't be just a bunch of bikers - we're inviting the local fashion
crowd, investors, and prospective investors as well.

  3. Court Avenue Brewery will be providing a half-barrel of liquid refreshment.

  4. If you like what you see, you can make a pledge to the campaign to
help her leverage into funding to get her first production run executed.

  5. Help share the message on Facebook & Twitter. http://www.facebook.com/pages/My-Alibi-Clothing/54122957072 or www.twitter.com/myalibiclothing.

About My Alibi Clothing

My Alibi Clothing just launched a Kickstarter Campaign to engage the larger outdoor
community to help fund the production of their new line of active apparel for women. This
line is designed to bridge the gap between bike functional clothing and stylish fashion. By
integrating high end performance fabrics that have soft and supple hand feel into classic
styles that coordinate with feminine stylish wardrobes, My Alibi supports integrating the
bike into your lifestyle.
