Mountain Biking (RACE)

Distance - 6 plus miles

This is a 24 Hour mountain bike event of epic proportions. The trail has been lengthened and groomed for this event. We will have solo, 2 man and 4 man team formats. The trail is now a 6 plus mile loop including climbs, descents, technical single track and a great view from the top. All racers must be present for an 11:00 a.m. pre-race meeting. Race is open to everyone and will include male, female and co-ed teams. ALso a solo category will be offered.

Route

The route will start at the base of the ski hill and climb up some twisting single track to the top of the ski hill. The trail then turns downhill thru some steep and technical descents before flattening out over the back. The trail snakes along a rail bed to a new section developed in the hillside and the climbs begin again. This loop returns back to the rail bed to a winding climb back to the top of the ski hill for a final descent to the bottom to start all over again.

Registration

Entry fees are as follows: $50.00 per person team entries need to be mailed in one envelope. All entries must be recieved by 9/6/03. Individuals under age 18 must have signed consent form by parents or a parent present to participate.
