Ride. Party. Compete.

A cycling adventure contest that takes you to some really great places in Iowa. This summer, ride the Raccoon River Valley and High Trestle trails and visit some of Central Iowa's best summer festivals. Along the journey, you'll complete some crazy challenges & learn a bit more about what makes Iowa small towns wonderful places to live, work and play. At each community and one point along the trails near each community, you'll have the opportunity to earn points toward prizes. You're not going to want to miss this!

Featured communities for summer 2012 include Adel, Huxley, Jefferson, Panora, Perry and Woodward.

Sat, June 9 - Mahanay Bell Tower Festival - 10a - 2p - Jefferson
Fri, July 20 - Friday Fest- 6-10p - Perry
Sat, August 4 - Panorama Days - 10a - 2p - Panora
Sat, August 11 - Sweet Corn Festival - 10a - 2p -Adel
Sat, August 25 - Prairie Festival - hrs TBD - Huxley
Sat, August 25 - Friends & Neighbors Days - 10a - 2p - Woodward

Opportunities to earn points at designated businesses and trail points throughout the summer in addition to festival dates.

Route

Ride, hike, skate along the Raccoon River Valley and High Trestle trails to our destination communities this summer. 

There really is no set route - you follow the Mix Map to the communities and hit the local festivals & hot spots for fun and points toward prizes.

Registration

$20 to participate in Iowa Trail Mix all summer.
