Recap/Results

No rain today, but the mud remained! With a park change, and inclement weather this weekend, we still had over 80 racers per day show up to play in the mud and 16 first time cross racers made their debut!

Great temps and no rain made it much more enjoyable for spectators today. The course was switched up from Saturday, but enough mud-laden spots were kept to keep things interesting The Cat 4s, M35+, M45+ and juniors started out the day riding in pudding for the back half of the course. The mud and grass "held on" causing many braking and clearance issues. The field was 40+ racers and made it fun to watch as well as race in! Congrats to Matt Maxon (Cat4), Jason Plunkett (35+), Jim Robideax (45+) and Chase Fletcher (Junior) for winning!

Next up, all the ladies put on a great show. the course seems to be drying out in a few spots, but not enough to alleviate the same mud clearance issues that plagued the previous race. KUDOS to Dariau Nagle-Gamm (Cat4), Jana Bachman (35+), Cindy Dubois (45+) for crossing the line first in their respective classes.

Bring on the Men's CX Open and Cat 3. Talk about a switcheroo. These guys had the worst conditions on Saturday and the best course conditions on Sunday. The course dried out in many areas and seemed not to be an issue for "stickage" anymore. No matter what, these guys seem to fly when watching from the sidelines. Competition was fierce, but Nate Kilborn (Open) and Geoff Perrill (Cat 3) crossed the line first!

The SERIES POINTS have been updated.
