This ride is being held in Steve Buser's honor. Steve is the Ames, Iowa Firefighter that passed away unexpectedly on March 17, 2017. Steve is an avid Fatty rider and loves to ride this trail. The purpose of this ride is to raise funds to erect a Memorial to Steve Buser in Ames, Iowa. Donations will be accepted towards this purpose. Please join us for a great day of riding and remembering.

Update: 06/22/17 The day after Steve died the SPERM ride was held. The picture uploaded was the bikers raising a toast to my best friend.
Update: 07/05/17 Who is Steve Buser? Steve Buser, first and foremost, is a father and husband. He is my best friend who I miss each day. Very few human beings were made as good as Steve. I count myself lucky to know him for the time I did.
Update 07/18/17: Steve Buser, the bicycling fireman. He is everyone's protector. Some knew it for certain while others took it for granted or maybe had no clue at all. To Steve, it didn't matter. He was there to make sure everyone was safe. We had the world's best guardian angel and still do today.
All of this is written is present tense as I have made a promise to never speak about Steve in the past tense. He is always with me.
