With reports of large hail in the area, it's too risky to lead a ride from Ankeny to Des Moines. The Kyle's Bikes RIDE TO the Ride of Silence is CANCELED. Please stay safe.

UPDATE: Due to the severity of the weather expected between 5:00 and 6:30, the Kyle's Bikes Ride to the Ride of Silence is unlikely. We will be updating our Facebook page. (Check BikeIowa.com's Ride of Silence Facebook event for updates on the Ride of Silence itself.)

In place of our regular Wednesday night ride, we will ride to the Des Moines East Village for the Ride of Silence.
Gather at the shop around 5:15. We will roll out promptly at 5:30. We will maintain a brisk pace in oder to get there in time.
The Ride of Silence is a silent slow-paced ride in honor of those who have been injured or killed while cycling on America's public roadways.
6:30 – 7:00 pm: Various speakers and crowd participation to share why we ride
7:00 pm: Ride starts at 7:00 pm sharp
Be sure to bring lights for the ride back home!
