Route

Same route this year as last year.  Back to TRIANGEL TAP for the first bar stop.  1:00 ish should be a nice time invade this laid back establishment. Parking in back and nice front patio.  Close to Taco Casa too.  This is an up and coming bike friendly bar.  Close to the trails.  Located at essentially MLK and Euclid (behind the strip mall with HyVee in it.  Jesus, just google Triangle tap and follow your phone map.

Approximately 3:00 its off to the Blazing Saddle one of the East Villiage's watering spots.  This is mostly via the trail and interurban bridge.  Except that the Blazing Saddle uses booze and very little water.  A great place to let your hair (and by hair sometimes I mean pants) down.  I recommend any mixed drink here.  The location is East 5th between Grand and Locust.  (Jimmy Johns right around the corner! and tacopacoplse across the street for food)

Sometimes the am starts on 48th street for breakfast around 10 am so keep your ears open.  Bad Monkey Rigg's tire smoking breakfast in the garage.  Or ask Walter Githens for the short way to get there knowing it will likely be the long way. Or send me a note and I'll give you the address.  Food and booze generally available just leave a tip.  Or BYOB.  Be Safe!

Need a nice place to stay, check out AC Hotel in Des Moines' East Village.  Right behind the Blazing Saddle.  Its hip and cool IMO.

Registration

NONE!  Tip your bartender

Looks like Captain Roy's will be opening that day so might want to plan that into this since we'll be riding by on our way to the saddle. Looking forward to this
