The Sioux City City Council will be asked to approve the acceptance of a donation by the Siouxland Trails Foundation for the Big Sioux Pedestrian Bridge Crossing.
The donation comes from the Siouxland Trails Foundation and totals $64,000.
It will support the project just north of I-29 and the bridge over the Big Sioux River as improvements will include grading, storm sewer, retaining wall construction and paving for a 10-foot wide trail.
